Virtual Phone Number

Hi guys,
I'm looking to buy a virtual local phone number, it will be used on my mobile phone only, no physical dedicated phone.
Can you recommend any companies? I've seen virtuallandline.co.uk offer one for £5.95 a month allowing me to select a phone number with my local area code. The only thing is it doesn't cover outbound calls for that. Seems a shame as my mobile plan comes with unlimited minutes. I do like the feature where they email you with the voicemail attached.
The main reason for wanting to do it this way is so I can put the virtual landline number on my social media profiles and website without putting my personal mobile number all over the internet.
Thanks

It's a smart move to keep your personal mobile number private while still maintaining accessibility for your business or social presence. Virtuallandline seems like a decent option at £5.95 a month, especially with the customizable local area code.

Regarding outbound calls, it's a bummer they don't include that, especially when your mobile plan offers unlimited minutes. However, the voicemail-to-email feature is a cool addition. Have you considered exploring other providers for outbound call options? Sometimes mixing services can give you the best of both worlds.

Also, having a separate virtual number for your social media profiles and website is a great way to maintain professionalism and privacy. It safeguards your personal contact details while ensuring accessibility for your audience.

Speaking of features, have you checked out call center features that could complement your virtual number? They can elevate your communication setup, providing tools like call routing, IVR, or even analytics. It's worth exploring to enhance your customer interactions and streamline your communication process.

It's smart thinking to protect your personal number online. Virtual local numbers are a great solution for that. £5.95 a month sounds reasonable, but it's a bummer about the outbound call limitation. Have you checked out call center solutions like MightyCall? They offer virtual numbers with robust features, including outbound calling, which could be handy for your needs. Plus, the voicemail-to-email feature is super convenient.
