Putting it basically, Bitcoin was intended to be only a cryptographic money, so it utilizes blockchain to record Bitcoin exchanges. Then, Ethereum was intended to enable engineers to make decentralized applications (otherwise called dapps), and it utilizes blockchain to run an application's customizing code

Ether is a cryptocurrency whose blockchain is generated by the ethereum platform. Ethereum offers multiple programming choices. They have diverse client implementations built in C++, Go, Python, Java and more. Smart contracts are build using a contract-oriented, high-level programming language called Solidity.

Investing in blockchain can be very profitable but risky. Don’t invest more than you can afford to lose, do your research and be attentive to details. It may be very informative to visit Blockchain Events (you can find out info on upcoming blockchain events here https://cryptolinks.com/blockchain-events ). Anyway, good luck!
