If you want to buy a used car from a car auction, you’ll need to do your research and know what you are looking for. Looks can be deceiving at car auctions, and a car that’s visibly undamaged, may have been repaired and built up to look pretty. So, take your time to bid carefully and consciously. Keep in mind that, no matter how low the mileage or how good it looks, an auction car doesn’t have a warranty.

Well, it depends on your preferences and your experience. I advice to do a research and make sure your are aware of how an auction works. It really can help you save thousands on your purchase. I prefer to deal with some reliable auctions like Minicar Yahoo Auction Japan https://www.yaharu.com/yahoo/part_2084260113.html I am pretty satisfied with thier service. Hope it can help

"Public auctions used to be good places to buy cars," Lang says. "Now they're not even remotely good places to buy a car. ... And as in a government auction, you can't drive a public auction vehicle before you bid on it. Cars at public auctions are often those that wouldn't sell at wholesale dealer auctions

The answer is at dealer and public auctions. ... The cars in these dealer auctions are usually in good enough condition where they can be placed in the used car inventories of new car dealers. Meanwhile, public auctions are open for anyone to attend and buy from.
